Problem: As our client grew, their IT requests becoming increasingly complex and more numerous
Solution: Oakgrounds Inc created an app which allows staff members to submit an IT Request. Correspondence on the issue is tracked, making it easy to refer back to and include many parties. After the issue is resolved, the case is still accessible, providing a great reference if similar issues arise in the future.
After its initial usage, additional features were added to the program including a "Wish List" section for staff as well as a Documents section - where the company made its more commonly accessed documents - such as How to Remove a Program, VPN Profile, How to Setup a New Computer.... - readily available. A DOWNLOAD shortcut and CALENDAR COPYING shortcut were also added to make the app even more useful.
The IT Request greatly reduced the time spend by staff in requesting and following up on IT issues and assured that all requests were fulfilled in a very timely manner.
